Tre poeti. Tre nazioni. Tre voci poetiche.
Karim Abdullah — Iraq

A POETIC COLLABORATION FOR PEACE
A Farewell to War — Three Voices, Three Nations, One Human Hope
Today, three poets from Iraq, Italy, and Pakistan come together through poetry with one shared message: war is never the answer; peace is humanity’s only lasting victory.
Karim Abdullah — Iraq
“War Is Enough” speaks from the wounds of a world exhausted by violence, calling for weapons to fall silent, children to return to their games, and hope to rise again from the ashes.
Elisa Mascia — Italy
“Farewell to War” is a heartfelt appeal to those who hold power—to open the doors of their hearts, lay down their weapons, and recognize the other as a brother worthy of love.
Sajid Hussain — Pakistan
“Peace” envisions humanity as the labourers of a peaceful world, harvesting grace and fellowship instead of smoke, destruction, and broken bones.
Three poets. Three nations. Three poetic voices. One universal dream.
May the guns fall silent.
May hatred surrender to love.
May children inherit gardens instead of battlefields.
May humanity finally learn that peace is not weakness—it is our greatest strength.
Let poetry become a bridge where war has built walls.
Let every heart become a citadel of Peace.
Karim Abdullah — Iraq
Elisa Mascia — Italy

War is Enough
Enough is enough, war is enough!
The wind cries out to the earth,
A whisper of peace and love:
May the merciless storm cease to blow,
The storm that spreads pain.
May the sound of weapons cease,
And children return to their games.
May hope sprout,
And hatred no longer reign.
Enough of endless wars,
Enough of the flood of tears and the mass of suffering!
Let humanity blossom in a true world.
Karim Abdullah-Irak
Farewell to War
It never ends.
For years, people have hoped throughout the world
for an end to the absurd war
that has now become the enemy
of all the inhabitants of the Earth
and no prayer
that each person prays from morning to night is enough.
Men and powerful people, you who have the power
to change the fate of people,
understand that we cannot live like this
may the doors of hearts open
may weapons finally be laid down
and with love, near and far, may one love one another
To wake up one day and be able to say
that there has been a halt to hatred
that the other is the brother to be loved
the surrender to arms, a farewell to every war.
That this was not a wish or a dream
to understand that humanity needs it.

PEACE
By Sajid Hussain – Pakistan
O let us, children of this breathing clay, Be labourers in Peace’s fruitful field, Not warriors bent on smoke and broken bone, But harvesters of grace and fellowship, Let us entwine our fates with hers divine, And dwell as kindred born of soul, not soil.
For she alone adorns the world with bloom, And guides the trembling stars in patient arcs, No art, no dream, no truth survives her fall, No kingdom climbs where Peace is not enthroned.
Till every heart becomes her citadel, The world shall reel in fever, far from grace.
